IE9 – CSS3/HTML5 things that do not work

Things that IE9 does not support for CSS3 and HTML5. Basically IE9 isnt a modern browser and its still falling behind the rest in a very frustrating way.

ClearType Required

If the text looks bitty then please follow these simple instructions for sharper and more readible text on all websites.

Right-click on a blank area of the Desktop and choose Properties.
Click on the Appearance tab; click effects.
Check the box: Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts.
In the drop down box select: Clear Type.
